I am a firm believer that the Tribulation and the Rapture of The Church is very close. Next administration will be heading a disastrous economy...ripe for a New World Order........Perfect scenario for Al Gore or Barack Obama, Hillary...or a combination. My bet is Gore/Obama. I personally think Hillary is not a very likeable candidate, but she does have many things in place to give her a real shot. If she could convince someone like Obama to run with her then she would win. All the recent polling regarding Hillary's front runner status is very interesting to me. What's comical is the length the press is willing to go to cast her as a qualified moderate. Now granted she and her media allies have allot of time to turn this political chameleon from the female version of Darth Vader into a very pragmatic Unicrate. I suggest for all of you to listen to the nuances in her speeches, what she avoids and what she jumps into head long . Meanwhile pay attention to Bill Clinton as he seeks Kofi Annan's U.N. post. There will need to be some rule changes, but that will be easy. In all sincerity, Christians need to begin to pray for her and her husbands salvation and a godly alternative to vote for. I am not sure why the Clintons view the world the way they do, but I do know that Jesus can change a persons heart as long as they are willing. When I think of some of the things I have done in the past, I too have worn the Chameleon skin and still get tempted to put it on. Unless I press in to Christ I would be falling into all sorts of things that profit nothing. Also don't forget Al Gore and now Barack Obama. They could knock Hillary out. Democrat party leadership has moved so far from commonsense and American values that it is hard for me to imagine anyone voting for them. Yet, when you have the free press in your hip pocket and an ever Left leaning judicial system... they can find ways to garner votes. The Clintonian leadership is dead set against fundamental Christianity. We really need to encourage some of the more fundamental Christian Democrats to take a stand against these mutineers. ________________________________________ MANKIND I decided that I would like to have a page on the most fascinating "animal" in the world, and in a generic description, that is Mankind. No, this is not a derogatory term, for I am not an Evolutionist, but instead believe in Intelligent Design. I am a Creationist. Albeit true, some men and women seem rather untamed. I am a registered Independent. I vote with many of the republican initiatives, but as a party they do not show enough political courage so I have never officially joined their ranks. I do support President Bush. I am Christian, one who believes in Christ based on The Biblical record and what my conscience confirms is true. For me, The Bible has climbed every mountain of historical authenticity that any linguist, archeologist, historian or skeptic has laid in front of this great book. I am also a person of Science, History, and Philosophy as well. It is my contention that many would believe there is a contradiction in that. I don't think there is any at all, in-fact I would say it is common sense to look at the overwhelming evidence that supports Intelligent Design and conclude most of Evolution is nothing more then a elaborate fable. Science is a ally to Christianity. Intelligent, discerning minds seek truth. The "Clintonites" read their "bible" every day....a.k.a. The "Humanist Manifesto"...then go out among us and spew their venom toward anything that is good, honest, Godly, free or common sense. Continue to sell the story called Evolution (Darwin's theory) and tell it to children as Fact...without any counter "theory" like Intelligent Design....true social engineering. 3. Make God a Bad word....9th circuit decision on removing God from pledge, heck they threw out the whole thing. 4. Taxes are your friend....what year did personal income taxes start...early 1900's as a temporary "fund raiser" 5. Patriot = Racist.. Clintonian Democrats think you are anti-American if: You take The Bible literally. They get mad if you Wave Our Flag, or Don't protest George Bush, they cry if you Didn't buy any of Hillary's books that she Didn't write, act. 6. Of course what they like to do more then anything is Re-write American history specifically the moral character of Our Founding Fathers. They pretend that religion had nothing to do with our founding or our Constitution...and more specifically they pretend that Christianity was just one of many religions at The Convention. The 1st Amendment scares them so they and some of their Supreme Court "mullah's" have rewritten it, to read like this: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of Christianity , and we will prohibit the free exercise of this wretched belief, and in its place we will worship Man instead. Well, they don't tell you that part. Of course if there is a working brain among them, they will know that aprox. 52 of the 55 signers were Bible believing Christians and the terms religion and denomination were used interchangeably, thus religion was accepted to mean a denomination of Christianity. The Founders were worried about "denominational encroachment" such as it was in The Anglican church of England. Simply put, they didn't want one denomination to be the ruling arm of the new Govt. So the "separation clause" correctly reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of one Christian Denomination over another, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof:" Now don't misread the Founder's intentions or mine. This bias towards Christianity which I purport to be the original intentions of the Founders is not exclusionary in the sense that others from differing faiths can't prosper here in America. On the contrary, it is because of Christianity that they, and we today have freedoms that we enjoy so much. Just try living in some other countries and see how far your freedoms can go....I have, I know....not far! 7.Clintonian Democrats ultimately want the governing body of America to be the United Nations. This is the Clinton Doctrine. Hillary will run the U.S.A. into the ground as president while Bill heads the U.N. I cannot think of 2 people more determined to undermine America's sovereignty then these misguided souls. So considering my 7 points one would think that these were the plans of the Communist party during the Cold War...and indeed their is some truth to this. Would not this list of "accomplishments" make Osama and Sadaam proud! So what's up with these Clintonites. America's brightest historian David Barton ________________________________________ IS THE BIBLE FROM GOD What's so special about The Bible, how do I know the Creator of the universe has spoken and it's not just another man made book. This is an admixture of some of my thoughts, but mostly what I learned from Greg Koukle at http://www.str.org 1. PROPHECY - Bible accurately predicts the rise and fall of nations and various people including Christ. This is not readily apparent to the casual reader. But with a bit of research it becomes clear that it takes something very special and of divine origin to achieve this task. You can't get this from Jeanne Dixon or any palm reader on their best days. 2. UNITY - Written by more then 40 authors from every walk of life, rich and poor and over a 1500 year time span. Each author, in some cases not even living during the writings of the next one...all writing from their unique personalities the same message: God's redemption of mankind. Sit back and think how impossible that would be. It cannot happen without the divine operation of God, inspiring men within their own unique personhood. 3. BIG PICTURE - Answers the big questions of life; why are we here, where did we come from, marriage, family, children, law, sin, Physics, finances, astronomy, biology, geology, same sex marriage, sexuality...ect. Many philosophies and other religions touch on these things, but not in the comprehensive way the Bible does. After all, if the Bible is God breathed it would be important for god to show us what he wants and expects from us. 4. INDEX OF HISTORY - If the Bible is God breathed then God better know His history. The Bible is responsible for more archeological findings then any other "reference" book due to its accuracy of history. 5. CHANGES PEOPLES LIVES - Many people can lay claim to life experiences and various religious encounters changing their lives. So the Bible is not exclusive in this sense. However, if we couldn't point to any positive differences in the minds and hearts of people committed to the Gospel then all the other facts regarding Christianity would be of little value. 6. THE BIBLE IS A FIGHTER - No other book...None, has gone thru the scholarly scrutiny like the Bible. Textual critics, archeologists, historians and skeptics alike have all been humbled when trying to "prove" the Bible inaccurate. in short, the Bible continues to weigh heavily on the minds of critics as a insurmountable stumbling block to a "random" life of sin. 7. More copies have been reproduced then any other book in History....Billions ( Josh Mcdowell) ________________________________________ LEARN HOW TO WITNESS TO THE LOST Way of the Master, 1. Would - you consider yourself to be a good person ? 2. Do - You follow the 10 commandments perfectly, or for that matter follow the law of the country you live in perfectly ? 3. If - God were to JUDGE you based on your responses would you be JUDGED Innocent or Guilty ? Considering His high standard of perfection 4. Based - on your responses what would your Eternal DESTINY be then, Heaven or Hell ? You know I agree with Ray Comfort. One of the biggest problems we have today in modern Christianity is that most people think they are Christians when they actually are not. Bold statement, how can I back this up ? The problem is they know Jesus historically only, or they may even agree He was God and even attend church... but refuse to obey His commands. By creating a Jesus in their minds that is far different then the message Jesus preached in The Bible. This by the way is called Idolatry. Personally, I came to Christ knowing I was a sinner, but I heard so much about Grace that I didn't take my sin seriously. I spent years struggling with the same strongholds thinking that "since I am saved this stuff wont count against me" I knew about Grace, but I didn't understand Gods Justice. Neither did I understand God's power in His Holy Spirit which as I yield my weak flesh over, He strengthens me to overcome that which I could have never done on my own... Amen! Now let me say there are some fine points here and I don't claim to know anyone's situation other then my own. So with a big dose of Christian charity it is my hope that everyone who professes Christ is genuine. Jesus gives us some help on this matter. To paraphrase: He says that we will know men by their fruit. He says that not every man who says to me Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven. Why, because some will be false, and we can tell by the good or bad fruit they bear. Think of the Parable of the Sower. This will show 3 examples of a false conversions. There were 4 types of people (soil) the Christian was trying to witness too. The first person was met on the path of life; this guy heard the word and gave it a brief moment of thought, and then kept on walking forgetting what he had just heard, or considering it nonsense. The Second person was the rocky soil; An eager fellow who is perhaps a bit impulsive. He heard the message of salvation and actually got excited about it. But he never considered the cost of following Jesus. When persecution came he decided heck with this stuff... I quit!. How about the third guy... He heard the word and he also accepted the message. But the worries and exciting things of this world choked his progress and he dropped his faith in Christ and quit as well. Now it wasn't till the fourth person that you saw a contrite heart that counted the cost and decided eternal life was worth it. This gal didn't let persecution, money, worries, fame or the lack of it get in her way she never looked back. I was sort of a mixture 2nd and 3rd person for a long time. Now I believe as long as the person in the above false conversion condition is alive he or she has the opportunity be like the 4th person...a real Christian. For some like me, it is a process so don't give up or lose heart if this message hits you. Its meant to get you to reexamine your profession of Christ. Here are some basic fruits that are present to some degree in all Christians. Do you desire to fellowship with believers? Do you belong to a church? Do you desire to read The Bible? Do you have any of the fruits of the spirit of God? Such as joy, peace, patience, kindness, love, meekness...ect. Now you may only have a few for now. Don't get depressed... keep pressing in to God's word and pray for a complete change in your character. Most of all, do you desire to tell others about Christ? After all the Gospel means Good News. For most of my walk with Jesus, I was too afraid. I prayed about this and admitted it to other Christian brothers and sisters and let me say God is doing a work of courage on me. As Christians we have to be willing to face persecution for Jesus. You know, somebody saying or doing mean things to you because of His name. Hey nobody likes that, but Jesus says to count it all joy. This takes a bit of understanding. God truly is fair and patient wishing no one to perish. Everyone was created by God and was given a conscience to know right from wrong, in essence this is summed up in the 10 commandments. All people are also created with the knowledge of God as well so their is no such thing as some man on some island that never heard of God. ________________________________________ Why there is evil and suffering I always hear people complain about the problems in this world, and God usually gets the blame. Well that won't work. Combine the 3 elements below and you will have difficulty. 1. FREEWILL - Man can choose to follow Christ or reject Him. As you can see for the most part, our world is run by unregenerate men and women who do not follow Christ. Thus the chaos we have is here to stay until Christ returns and sets up His Millennial Kingdom. Yes I am a Pre-Millennial, Pre-Trib Rapture believer. I believe there is good Biblical exegetical evidence for this view. 2. SINFUL NATURE - Man's decision in the Garden to turn from the care of God to having his very own wisdom independent from God brought forth the sin seed. Which is passed on from one generation to the next. We are born with the desire to do our own thing. Only Christ's shed blood on the Cross can free us from this bondage of death. 3. THE ADVERSARY - A once singing Cherub, a Maestro of the choir of God, visually beautiful and to his shame full of pride. Satan was cast out of heaven and desires nothing more then to tempt men and deceive and destroy as many as possible. Now just imagine planet Earth without Satan, filled with people who's hearts desire to please Christ. Couple that, with pleasing weather all the time and sickness and disease minimized or gone all together.
